Seymour Primary School

SPS

Seymour Primary School has an enrolment of 246, prep to year 6 students who travel from the City of Seymour and surrounding rural districts. A large number of students travel by bus within Seymour. To assist in the co-ordination of bus travel, students finish school at 3.10 pm. Lunch is shortened to 40 minutes to allow for this modification. School buildings comprise a main block (light timber construction), relocatables (module 2), a brick art/craft facility, a multi-purpose hall/gymnasium and canteen.

Seymour East Primary School

SEPS

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you, as School Principal, to the Seymour East Primary School website.  As you browse the website you will learn much about our delightful group of children and our enthusiastic staff.

With a school motto of  “SEPS: A Safe and Happy Environment” and a vision of “Providing Pathways for the Future” we all work very closely together to ensure our students are provided with the best educational opportunities in a supportive and caring environment.  This is best achieved through open and honest communication with our families and by creating, and continuing to develop, a friendly and welcoming school environment.

We share the raising of our students with our families and encourage communication that allows us to work together with these families for every student’s educational, social, physical and emotional benefit.

If you are new to our school community and would like to visit our school, please contact us so that we can organise a mutually convenient time to show you around and answer any questions.

Please enjoy our website and we encourage your feedback.  If we have missed something please let us know as we are continually updating this facility.

Warmest regards,
Fiona McCarthy (Principal)
